If there are multiple pallets of product up for auction, the highest bids will win the available products according to the rules above. For example if there are five pallets or 750 gallons (150 gallons per pallet) of a
herbicide being offered, and during the course of play, the top five highest priced bids
look like this:

Who's winning?
"A" wins one pallet because his bid is highest.
"B" wins two pallets because his quantity is higher than other bidders with the same bid amount.
"C" wins one pallet because his first bid came in next in time order before other bidders with the same bid amount.
"D" wins one pallet because his first bid came in next in time order before other bidders with the same bid amount.
"E" isn't a winner. (Next time, "E" will need to make his first bid sooner, for a greater quantity, or for a higher amount - or even all three! He'll also want to watch the auction closely by checking back on the Bid Page and his Activity Summary)
Note: Bids do not transfer to other auctions for similar products. You only bid for the product shown on the Auction detail. If you see the same product being offered in another auction, you need to bid for that product separately. |
